Sugar Cane Development Corporation (SCDC) is the umbrella corporation that incubates new Williams Lake First Nation (WLFN) businesses, develops partnerships and business relationships and fosters economic opportunities. SCDC is also the parent entity for a number of WLFN businesses, including Sugar Cane Archaeology, Sugar Cane Medical Services, Sugar Cane Security Services and Sugar Cane Environmental.

Sugar Cane Petroleum Products is a WLFN enterprise that operates an Esso-branded fuel station and convenience store under the oversight of an independent board of directors. Located near the Chief Will-Yum Campsite along Highway 97 South, this gas station has consistently provided employment opportunities for WLFN members for many years.

Currently in the Health Canada Licensing process, Sugar Cane Cannabis will host the province’s first farm-gate cannabis retail facility.
